It is the manufacturing method of the "Light-emitting Electrochemical Cells (LEC)" of interest as a next-generation organic light emitting device.
Use an ionic liquid, which was synthesized from high purity phosphine (hydrogen phosphide) gas to the electrolyte of the light-emitting layer, to achieve the brightness of the world's highest level in the LEC.
The proposed device has potential applications in future lighting and display applications, printed light emitting devices.
