Japan has set itself apart as an early adopter of blockchain technology, despite the Mt Gox debacle in 2014. The development of blockchain technology has taken on two distinct approaches: a financial one, with a flourishing regulated trading market, and the corporate one, with several leading technology companies investing heavily in blockchain businesses.
The talk will give an overview of the evolution s in the Japanese blockchain industry, as well as wider economic and social developments, and provide insights into some of the opportunities and areas available to EU businesses.
