In the light of recent developments in the field of AI, what is the status of Japan’s AI industry today?

To sustain its global competitiveness in manufacturing, Japan will implement various AI-related measures. The “Industrialization Roadmap” published in 2017, is the Government’s major AI strategy that will also integrate AI technology into the development of the societal infrastructure that will be carried out in three stages. Artificial intelligence is expected to impact the industry in many ways, in particular in sectors where Japan historically has been strong, such as robotics.

The webinar is targeted to EU companies seeking to understand where the Japanese AI industry is heading and what kind of solutions that could be attractive for Japanese companies.
