Webinar 113: Update on Artificial Intelligence and AI Applications in Japan

March 13 2018

13-03-18 | 10:30 - 11:30 AM CET

What are the opportunities for SMEs in Europe to cooperate with Japanese companies in introducing 5G?

The fifth generation of mobile systems is commercially launched in Japan during the Tokyo Summer Olympics in 2020. 5G is very different from previous generations since it is much more than just smartphone applications and voice communications. 5G is a complete ecosystem, with hundreds of vertical applications. Japanese IT industry wants to cooperate with foreign companies to provide a large variety and complete product range. This will create many interesting opportunities for smaller European companies with innovative solutions and a willingness to expand into Japan.

The webinar is targeted to EU companies interested in cooperating with Japanese companies by selling complete systems, devices or providing technical expertise within the mobile network sector.
