Webinar 115: Society 5.0 Strategy in Japan

April 03 2018

03-04-18 | 10:00 - 11:00 AM CET

What is the current status of the implementation of Society 5.0 in Japan?

Whereas other countries primarily are applying IoT in the manufacturing sector, Japan wants to go a step further and also utilize technologies such as AI and big data to further drive the digital transformation. By merging the physical space (real world) and cyberspace, a super-smart society can be created in which humans and new technologies can coexist. Society 5.0 will network all people together to achieve broader socio-economic benefits.
