On 17 January 2023 in Tokyo, the 2022 Recommendations adopted by the EU-Japan Business Round Table were formally submitted to the Government of Japan during a courtesy call on PM Kishida by Masaki Sakuyama (former Chair of the BRT's Japan-side and former Senior Advisor to Mitsubishi Electric Corporation) and by Nikolaus Boltze (BRT Member, representing Philippe Wahl - the Chair of the BRT's EU-side).
The handover was reported on the websites of the Prime Minister's Office of Japan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan and the EU Delegation to Japan.
The documents that were submitted to PM Kishida included the BRT's 2022 Joint Recommendations and the 2022 reports by the BRT's Working Party 1, Working Party 2, Working Party 3 & Working Party 4.
