This Report presents for the first time a comprehensive analysis of the Japanese building and construction materials (BCM) sector and the business potential for the European companies. It focuses mainly on four products: tiles, ceramics, insulation products and wooden products. The ongoing trade issues between the EU and Japan are also presented including the opportunities for standards alignment and some specific market access advice for European SMEs .
