The third edition of the Japanese Festival in Krotoszyn took place in September this year, as an event accompanying the Sumo World Championships in Krotoszyn. As always, the organizers took care to introduce residents to the world of Japanese tradition, culture, and art.

A good practice adapted from Misato, Japan, to Krotoszyn, Poland
On 27 March the four concerned parties: Marshal Office of Wielkopolska Region, Krotoszyn Municipality, Las Kalisz Ltd. Co., and Village Housewives’ Association in Kobierno, signed a letter of intent, thus making the first step in implementing the Japanese good practice of sewing small promotional gadgets in wild boar leather.

Poland is organising study visits for Japanese entrepreneurs for Osaka expo 2025
As part of the promotional activities preceding the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japanese entrepreneurs, and journalists – a total of 74 people – will be invited to Poland to participate in 7 inbound missions. The first three missions will take place as early as September this year, with more to follow in the months leading up to the Expo.

The diplomatic relations between Krotoszyn (Wielkopolska Region, Poland) and Okinoshima (Shimane Prefecture, Japan) have once again acquired a cultural dimension by introducing the world of Japan to Krotoszyn which enchanted the audience with its beauty, culture and traditions. The 2nd edition of the Japanese Festival in Krotoszyn brought into town distinguished guests from Okinoshima and Misato towns, the Embassy of Japan in Poland, and the Marshal Office of Wielkopolska Region in Poznan.
Towards Green Transition: First Polish Hydrogen Mission to Japan
In September, Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) organized its first Polish Hydrogen Mission to Japan. Participants from various fields had a chance to network with their Japanese counterparts, attend seminars as well as exhibit their hydrogen-related solutions at Smart Energy Week 2023.
Full of success Polish-Japan trade mission
The cities of Krotoszyn (Poland), Okinoshima (Japan), and Misato (Japan) have organised a very successful trade mission to Shimane Prefecture (Japan) in 2023. This mission signifies a continuation of joint activities implemented in 2019, which were interrupted by the outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic.
