This report aims to provide an overview of the Japanese nanotech sector, its structure and the industry landscape. It also presents a set of conclusions and recommendations for European companies wishing to collaborate with Japanese nanotech companies or to access the Japanese market. A useful database of Japanese companies that have activities in nanotechnology is presented in the annex to the report.
