In June 2013, the Centre updated its report concerning the mapping of clusters in Japan, which it started in 2008. This report written in English contains a basic description of clusters across Japan, and includes contact details and general information on their missions and objectives, as well as key themes. The report is intended to provide comprehensive information to European cluster managers who seek partnerships with Japanese clusters or cluster members. It aims to support organizational matchmaking across borders, and to encourage European clusters and accompanying SMEs to initiate contacts and engage in the search for partnerships with Japan, with the aim of developing further RTI and industrial cooperation.
