How can EU-based small-and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that have invested in a business trip to Japan follow up on and gain a return from this investment?

One of the challenges that managers face after returning from an overseas business trip is to identify which of the meetings and conversations at (for example) a trade fair, Expo or conference should be prioritised and followed up on. The return from business trips in Japan can be especially challenging in this regard: not only are there the many business cards to sort through and organise, there is the challenge to remember which of the many meetings and conversations with potential business partners might actually lead to a mutually beneficial and perhaps long-lasting business relationship. Following on from previous webinars in this series such as ‘Organising a business trip to Japan: getting noticed!’ (webinar #3), this webinar offers practical advice to managers in European small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) relevant to how they might work effectively towards ‘being remembered’ by people they met in Japan and, furthermore, be recognised as companies that Japanese business people might look forward to ‘doing business with’: for example, on a future visit to Japan, or in Europe.

The webinar is targeted to EU companies seeking to do business in Japan and wishing to attract interest from Japanese consumers.
