How can EU-based SMEs prepare effectively for hosting a business delegation from Japan?

After having invested time, money and other resources into making initial contact and subsequently developing the basis for a business relationship with partners in Japan, one objective commonly shared by managers in European small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) is to invite their Japanese partners to their ‘home base’ in Europe. One potential gain in having such an invitation accepted is that the relationship between partners becomes more solid and durable, thereby ensuring continuity of business along with some assurance that one or other partner will not ‘scale down’ their interest and perhaps switch allegiance to a rival company. This webinar offers practical advice to managers in European SMEs relevant to how they might prepare effectively towards making both a positive and a positively lasting impression when hosting delegations of business people from Japan. As a result, managers in European SMEs should be more confident about identifying in advance some of the risks of awkwardness or embarrassment that investing in such a delicate and complex task generates.

The webinar is targeted to EU companies seeking to do business in Japan and wishing to attract interest from Japanese consumers.
