About the Report
This report assesses the potential for EU-Japan cooperation and business development within the smart cities sector and investigates the Japanese Smart City policy, from the context in which it is embedded to the different types of projects that have been initiated. This report also analyses the sectors in which European companies could contribute to incremental improvement in energy efficiency technology and services at the scale of communities.
