About the Report
It has been 5 years since the EPA entered into force. It has established itself as the economic foundation of the EU-Japan partnership over this time, and in 2022, goods trade between the two partners reached a record high value of 20735 billion yen. The EU food sector is one of the major industries benefiting from the agreement. Thus, this guide aims to provide a brief overview on regulation aspects to consider when exporting foods to Japan.
