The European and Japanese project called “e-VITA virtual coach for smart ageing, is ending after more than 3 years of development. To present the results of the development of social robots for the wellbeing of older persons at home in Europe and Japan, the project is organizing its final conference in Evry, France in an hybrid format. The event simultaneously translated in Japanese will gather the scientific community, civic society, policy makers and companies working for active and healthy living in a context of demographic change and ageing societies.

The Toshiba International Foundation Fellowship program conducted jointly by the European Association for Japanese Studies (EAJS) and the Toshiba International Foundation (TIFO) supports doctoral candidates in carrying out research in Japan.
Successful candidates must start their research stay in Japan no later than February 2025.
The application deadline is 22 March 2024.
