This webinar focuses on the link between a strategic company plan for business in, or with, Japan, and the cross-cultural differences (business and private) between the home market and Japan.
It aims to provide a high level, yet practical, overview of the points of attention when planning to sell products or services as an EU SME to, or in, Japan. It stresses the importance of understanding and living the differences in the business and private culture between your country of reference and Japan.
To successfully sell products or services as an EU SME, it is essential to be well prepared (have a detailed business plan), understand and embrace the cultural differences (both business and private), to have an USP (Unique Selling Proposition) and to go for the long-term.
“When in Rome, do as the Romans do”.
The webinar is targeted to EU companies who want to start doing business in, or with, Japan, or who want to ameliorate their current business, in particular if their cross-cultural understanding of Japan (business or private) is limited or could do with improvement.
