Universities and banks still implement nowadays an old paradigm of doing business. Universities create new ideas that strive to take off as businesses due to lack of understanding of investors’ needs and market rules. Banks are struggling to cope with tech disruption all around. Overall, more resilience is needed in both systems to build long term and sustainable businesses. Therefore, it is important to open a more comprehensive dialogue to bring strategically closer these two entities together with industry actors within the innovation ecosystem.
