However, application and execution of intellectual property rights in Japan shall be compliant with the laws of Japan. Therefore it is recommended to check the essential features of the Japanese Intellectual Property System and to consult specialists (lawyers/patent attorneys) in the early stage, after clarifying the basic policy of management.
