Why has BSA (Business Software Alliances) rated Japan as the #1 market in the world for Cloud Computing and Big Data Management, and in the same time JETRO (Japan External Trade Organisation) stated that Cloud Computing and Big Data Management is 2 out of 3 most interesting growth areas in Japan’s ICT industry?

JETRO (Japan External Trade Organisation) has identified Cloud Computing and Big Data Management as 2 out of the 3 most promising future areas in the Japanese ICT industry. BSA has identified Japan as the #1 market considering; market, competition, legal and legislation aspects, with less “red-tapes” than in most other countries.

Today there are a large number of foreign market players in Japan, and some local companies.  The local companies are looking for alliances and partnerships to strengthen their competitive position.
