Japan is not only home to large chemical companies that manufacture raw materials and composite materials, but also has a large market for composites in industries such as construction, aerospace or automobile manufacturing. As in all “high-tech” sectors, another typical characteristic is the high occurrence of inter-company R&D cooperation. For these reasons, Japan can be an interesting base for the composite materials business.
This webinar give an overview over the market for plastic composites such as glass fibre-reinforced plastic (GFRP) or carbon fibre-reinforced plastic (CFRP). It will discuss the market situation in Japan with a focus on application markets such as automotive or aerospace and future trends. In addition, recommendations will be given regarding distribution paths and business practices in Japan.
The webinar is targeted at EU companies seeking business opportunities in the composite materials sector in Japan, e. g. in applications such as automotive, aerospace or wind energy.
