The Cross-cultural workshop in Valletta was held in collaboration with the Malta Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise Malta.
The workshop was preceded by an address of the Chamber’s director general, Mr. Kevin Borg, as well as a short speech by his excellency Mr. André Spiteri, ambassador of the Republic of Malta to Japan.
Over 20 participants were present at the event, coming from sectors as diverse as the language learning industry, ICT and engineering.
The EU-Japan Centre hopes that by attending this workshop SMEs from Malta took a small, but important step towards expanding into the Japanese market and developing a trusted business relationship with Japanese counterparts.
