On Tuesday, 12 December in Brussels, the EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation will organise an in-person 60-minute briefing/Q&A session on the EU-Japan data flow agreement in principle. Vanda Markovic (Deputy Head of Unit for Services & Digital Trade) from DG TRADE will explain what has happened, the likely next steps and will answer questions. Aimed at EU and Japanese businesses and industrial organisations, chambers of commerce and other stakeholders, this event will give participants an opportunity to hear from, and discuss with, the EU negotiators what this milestone announcement means.
Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Application deadline: 4 December. Register via this webform.
