'Vulcanus in Europe' is an exchange programme that offers EU companies an opportunity to host Japanese S&T university students as trainees in R&D for a 7/6-month period.
By taking part in Vulcanus, the company gains an insight into Japanese business culture, benefits from a valuable addition to its R&D team and is assisted in the development of its business with Japan, through establishing links for a future cooperation.
Here a successful story from Vulcanus in Europe 2022-2023 described by the Portuguese company Stab Vida Lda, specialised in genetics and genomics who hosted the Japanese trainee Takumi Yamaguchi.
