About the Report

It has established itself as the economic foundation of the EU-Japan partnership over this time, and in 2021, goods trade between the two countries reached pre-pandemic levels, reaching 125 billion euros. The EU food sector is one of the major industries benefiting from the agreement. Thus, this guide aims to provide a brief overview on regulation aspects to consider when exporting foods to Japan.
